Club Activities include hosting visiting tutors, the popular “Paris Art Day” where members work and exhibit in the main street of Town and the annual post Exhibition Dinner, with the years activities concluded with an annual Christmas Party.
Elevenses is a collection of loosely linked artists who have been meeting on the second Sunday of every month in Hastings for the past year and a half in the interests of tapping into the greater creative pulse. The defining thread for those who meet seems to be a gifting of personal knowledge within the artistic journey from the esoteric to the primal. Participators in the monthly conversations come away with renewed feelings of support and with the universal need for shared experience topped up and primed to fuel their individual journeys at the easel, the jewellery work bench, the sculptor's studio, the typewriter and at any or all other endeavours which define their road.
