The Programme

WEDNESDAY 21 MARCH 5.30pm – OPENING NIGHT

• Drinks & nibbles with music by Confetti, followed by the awards of prizes.
• This is your first chance to view & purchase the works by our talented local artists.
• The silent auction for Cranford Hospice starts.
• Tickets $15 are available at the door.

THURSDAY 22 MARCH

• Exhibition open 9am – 6pm – no charge.
• The silent auction for Cranford Hospice continues.
  From 6pm  there will be a private function.

FRIDAY 23 MARCH

• Exhibition open 9am – 6pm – no charge.
• The silent auction for Cranford Hospice continues.
  From 6pm  there will be a private function.

SATURDAY 24 MARCH

• Exhibition open 9am – 6pm – no charge.
• The silent auction for Cranford Hospice continues.
• 9.30am – Selector’s Talk with Helen Dynes.
• 10.30am – The Workshop with Helen Dynes starts (bookings essential).

SUNDAY 25 MARCH

• Exhibition open 9am – 6pm – no charge.
• The silent auction for Cranford Hospice finishes at 6pm.

This is a non-profit event, funded mainly from sponsors and local grant providers.  Art Hawke’s Bay Inc is very appreciative of their generous support.

Sculpture Prize: Best in category.

Schools Prize: Best in category.

Prizes

• Cash prizes of $250 for best in each category. Prizes also for Best in Exhibition, Special Mystery prize, People’s Choice and Best of the Backroom.

Receiving day is Sunday 18 March, 1- 4pm at the Cheval Room, Hastings Racecourse.   

Scholarship

• A scholarship with Helen Dynes for two artists will be held on Tuesday 20 March & Wednesday 21 March. 
  Closing date is Sunday 10 March.  

Workshop

• An artists’ workshop with Helen Dynes will be held from 10.30am on Saturday 24 March.  Places are limited and there is a fee (to be prepaid).
